Dr. Mohammad Elbatta, is a board certified and fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. At his private practice in Tustin, CA, Dr. Elbatta and his team treat patients like members of the family. The Gastroenterology practice focuses on a variety of Gastrointestinal and Hepatology diseases including screening for colon cancer, diarrhea, constipation, GERD, peptic ulcer, viral hepatitis, irritable bowel diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, and more.

Dr. Elbatta uses superior diagnostic skills and variety of advanced tests including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, to screen for colon cancer and to uncover the underlying reasons for GI problems.

Dr. Elbatta earned his medical education at Jordan University of Science and technology. Dr. Elbatta completed his internal medicine residency and fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Henry Ford Hospital/Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan where he was selected as a chief fellow. Dr. Elbatta has published multiple abstracts and has been an invited speaker at national conferences. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as the American Board of Gastroenterology.
